Steltix Transparent Logon uses a cross-reference database that correlates Active Directory users with (one or more) EnterpriseOne users. This database does not contain any sensitive user data such as passwords, just the two user ID's. As the relationship between the user ID’s is explicitly made, there is no need to synchronize usernames across these two systems.
Users will navigate to the Transparent Logon URL rather than the JD Edwards URL when using this tool. Transparent Logon automatically logs the users onto JDE and navigates to the desired screen automatically.
- Transparent Logon can be enabled on a per user basis: That means that regular access to JD Edwards EnterpriseOne can coexist for select users (for instance external users).
- Transparent Logon supports the use for parameterized URL's: Users can navigate straight into any JD Edwards EnterpriseOne transaction without hitting any logon screen.
- Transparent Logon can also be used as a self service password reset tool.
- Transparent Logon keeps comprehensive records of logon activity to provide complete auditing records for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne. All back end maintenance activity is also recorded in a specific database.
